We just returned from a wonderful two-week vacation completely off the grid. It was refreshing to unplug from work and technology and simply enjoy time with family and friends. The memories we made were truly unforgettable.
As a family, we spent five days in Paris. I attended the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Conference for three days, earning coaching certification credits for the next three years. We spent the other two days sightseeing with John and John Robert (JR).
France Highlights
- No computer
- New friendships from all over the world at the Converge Coaching Summi
- Lots of walking (over 12,500 steps one day and 11,200 another)
- Visits to Notre Dame, the Moulin Rouge, Montmartre, Sacré-Cœur Basilica, and the Catacombs
Florida Highlights
- No computer
- A fun day on the catamaran with Susan and Rich, and seeing Mom and Dad Shatzer
- Staying at Orange Lake Country Club in Orlando
- Relaxing by the pool and floating in the Lazy River
- Great dinners each night
- Walking around Disney Springs
- Visiting with Martin and Jan Sklar
It truly was a fantastic vacation. I highly recommend taking time to unplug and be fully present with the people you love. The work was still there when I returned, and I quickly got back into the swing of things, attending Medical Development Group’s (MDG) Summer Networking Meeting and welcoming a new coaching client into my community.
