It was 4 years ago in November when John Robert had his Open Heart Surgery. We were back in Children’s Hospital last month, but it was a false alarm. His monitor was showing artifacts. He is fine and doing great.
Every November I can attest to how grateful we are as a couple and as a family. I like to take the time to recognize the importance of good health. It should not be taken for granted since it makes all the difference in the world.
This fall we were also Thankful that Mom and Dad Sasso celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. We greatly appreciated all the friends and relatives that could gather with us to celebrate this special occasion. Fifty years of marriage is something to marvel at.
I thank God every day for my second set of parents. I have known them for the last 30 years (1984) when I started dating their son. They have been there for all of us in good times and the bad. They are great people and they do so much for so many that it was nice that we could all do something for them.
