Happy New Year!
I started the New Year off right with a weekend full of fun, festivities, and family. How did you kick off 2026?
The Sasso family, 11 of us, spent the weekend at Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Connecticut. We enjoyed great meals, an amazing show featuring music from the 1980s, and even ran into several cousins who happened to be there for the same reason: some fun, rest, and relaxation. It was a wonderful way to start the year.
I also took time to write out my goals for 2026, and I hope you did too.
I keep my goals simple and focused:
- A business goal
- A relationship goal
- A health goal
That’s it, simple and doable.
If you haven’t written your goals down yet, it’s not too late. Many people break their New Year’s resolutions within the first week, but writing your goals down makes a big difference. Research shows you’re 39.9% more likely to achieve your goals when you write them down. If you need help setting your goals, let’s talk.
I recommend using the SMART goal framework, which I’ve relied on for over 20 years.
SMART stands for:
- Specific
- Measurable
- Achievable
- Relevant
- Time-bound
One more powerful tool is having an Accountability Partner. When you’re accountable to someone, you stay focused and get more done. In fact, 76.7% of people are more successful when they have one.
In addition to being a coach, confidant, and cheerleader, I serve as an accountability partner for all of my clients. If you’re ready to make 2026 your most intentional year yet, I’d love to support you.
