The school year is in full swing, and it’s a special one for my son, JR, as he enters his senior year at Landmark School. I’m thrilled to share that JR was recently featured in the September issue of The Lantern, Landmark’s magazine, in a two-page spread called “How I Learn Differently.” He shared how Landmark has helped him manage his ADHD and channel his creativity.

Earlier this year, JR revived the school’s Dance Club, and his passion for the performing arts shines through every day. He’s busy applying to top theater schools and has his sights set on teaching dance and musical theater in the future.

Exciting news – JR landed the lead role of Gomez in The Addams Family! The Addams Family is a musical comedy that tells the story of Wednesday Addams, who falls in love with a young man from a respectable family. Wednesday asks her father to keep her secret from her mother, and Gomez must navigate how to please both. In the end,  it doesn’t matter how strange you look to others, but rather that you know how to love and be sincere with yourself and your loved ones.

Saturday, November 16 at 2:30 p.m.
