It is the week before Labor Day and the kids just went back to school today in my town. However, there are still a few weeks of summer weather on the calendar. Fall will not be coming for another month.
Enjoy summer now. You can reminisce about the past few months or you can think about the next month. However, your best bet is to live in the present each and every day. Enjoy today because it is a gift and that is why they call it “the present”.
Take advantage of this beautiful weather and go outside. Do something fun; fly a kite just because, jump in cold water at the beach or the ocean just as Nike would say, “Just do It”. There are no excuses. If you blink the summer will be over and you will have to wait many more months for the warm weather again. So carpe diem. (Seize the day). Do things now and don’t regret.
In the last two weeks, I’ve managed to enjoy two beaches, Kimball Farms, and Canobie Lake amusement park. At the beaches, we flew kites, swam and caught the rays of the warm sun. At Kimball’s, we enjoyed family, food, and festivities. At the amusement park, we set expectations for riding every roller coaster and major attraction. By the end of the night, we were successful in meeting our objectives for the day. Every day can have goals and every day can feel like an accomplishment when you meet your goals.
Enjoy Summer Now! Enjoy each day and make the most of each and every day. Life goes by quickly, especially these summer days. Here’s wishing you a very Happy Labor Day to you and your family.
With gratitude and best wishes,
