Happy New Year! Make 2025 the year of achieving your goals!
As we start this new year, let’s break free from the definition of insanity—doing the same things repeatedly and expecting different results. Henry Ford said it best: “If you always do what you’ve always done, you will always get what you always got.”
Did you know only 8% of people succeed with their goals? Writing them down increases your chances to 30%, and having an accountability partner boosts it to 77%. That’s where coaching makes a difference—mentoring, guiding, and cheering you on every step of the way.
- Specific: Define the goal clearly and precisely.
- Measurable: Include criteria to track progress and measure success.
- Achievable: Ensure the goal is challenging yet realistic and attainable.
- Relevant: Align the goal with your broader objectives and values.
- Time-Bound: Set a deadline or timeframe to maintain focus and motivation.
I assume that you probably already know what SMART goals are. Remember to use this framework to set your goals. It really works! Then you can move onto strategies and tactics. You should make sure that you have a coach or an accountability partner to ensure that you meet your goals on or before your deadline. Most people by the end of January have already given up on their New Year’s Resolutions.
Let’s make it happen together.
