Transition Roadmap

So how does the Career Transition Roadmap work?

This program requires a systematic approach to your job search.

Finding a new role in today’s environment means leveraging how jobs are found.

While many firms have adopted more automated processes for candidate screening.

Finding roles and getting interviews still requires a strong networking approach. Ultimately a human will be hiring or promoting you, so the stronger your connections with the right people, the easier it will be for you.

With the human connection in mind, many of the early steps in the process are focused on networking related activities.

But before you even get to that stage, you must identify your target roles and companies.

You have to align your values and objectives with the role you want.

Then, with this clarity, you need to craft your personal marketing message, be ready to engage in networking, and ultimately do well in interviews to outshine your competitors.

Clients sometimes ask, do I need to do all 9 steps in the program?

Perhaps they feel confident in the work they have done for that aspect of their job search and career activity.

While this may certainly make the effort in that step less, it is always important to review each area and step to make sure they are in alignment with the overall goal.

Each step builds on the previous one, so it’s important we check all the boxes in order.

One of the most common mistakes I find when working with candidates is they often fail to connect each aspect of their job search in a consistent way.

Whether it be in their on-line presence, written materials or verbal communication.

Following my Career Transition Roadmap ensures that once your goals are set, niche defined, and you start down the path, everything stays aligned.
