First, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the horrific act that occurred in Las Vegas last week.  I pray for all of the families that were affected.  While we may never feel totally safe in a large arena or activity, we can’t let this scare us.  That’s how we let those aimed at destroying our way of life win.  We should remain vigilant, but also continue to go about our daily lives.  Remember Boston Strong.

As a coach, I often find my clients struggling to define their personal brand.  Most folks find themselves either with a wealth of experience and knowledge but unable to parse it effectively, or limited skills and having to only focus on those pieces that demonstrate the most impact.  While branding encompasses more than what can be explained here, one of the most important ways to communicate one’s brand is the resume.  Whether you are in the market for a new job, or just wanting to keep your profile up to date, regular checks of your resume are essential.
